Hawaiian Shirt Placecard Holders
You feel the cool breeze sliding off your skin… you hear the waves lapping at the shore… you get a whiff of pineapple and coconut. You swear you’re in Hawaii, but you’re not… you’re at a bridal shower. Sounds too good to be true to have this type of shower… it’s not.
There are many ways to create this theme…have leis for guest to wear as they walk in the door or have them wear Hawaiian shirts. Decorations could be made by having fake (or real) Hibiscus flowers, tiki torches and a blow up palm tree… for the music, you could have Hawaiian music playing or if possible, hire a band to play Hawaiian music.
For activities, you could play a game where if a certain word is said and someone hears it, you have to give up the lei you’re wearing and whomever had the most leis won… also, you could have hula dancing or a quiz to see who knew the bride the best… there are so many possibilities. For the food and refreshments, you could have pineapples, fruit salad, finger sandwiches….there are endless possibilities.
Why go to Hawaii when you can bring Hawaii to you…
